Would it be possible to start a list to see how many are definately in this group buy and who all has bookings so far?
Is there a set price organised for the numbers?

I feel sorry for you mate, I would hate to have this done to my car.
Was your car parked in a driveway or out on the street. I think I'm going to keep mine in the garage all the time from now on!

Hi and welcome.
I would highly recommend AWD to anyone.
Just yesterday I was there for new pads, fuel pressure regulator and fuel pump. I knew my brakes were crap, turned out one of the pistons in front driver side caliper was seized. Got reconditioned calipers put on there and then.
Give them a call, theyre pretty good

Attend the meets - look in the meets section. That's where people get to know each other and talk, but at an event (aside from the cold etc) you have to introduce yourself to new members because no one knows who is an SIDC member, who is there just to watch, who is there by accident, etc.

that's spot on.
The meets normally have smaller groups and everyone is a member of the forum = minimal fear in saying hi and looking like a twat
the events have other members of the public there = increased chance you say hi to a totally random stranger that doesnt own a scooby and looks at you like a twat!
it may be daunting making the initial contact and introducing yourself. You just need to do it once then things will get easier the next time you are out with us, as you'll get to recognise faces.
If you dont try, you wont get anything out from the event/meet.
its one of the reason the clothes have our usernames on them, helps break the ice [

thats quite true because at the dastek RR at the start of september, I was a latecomer due to workin nightshifts so I didna know if I would be up for the event, but when I arrived, it was Spooks that I approached because he had the SIDC top on! [Y]

interesting thread! As a fairly new member (this year) myself, I have just introduced myself at the meets, its the best way to go about things. I have also ordered an SIDC top so it will be obvious that I am a member!
