Just filled up today at 273miles! That's with the 150mile Elgin run/meet last weekend!!

I had a full tank mind, did the run then made it to Aberdeen, probably 210 miles!! Very good in a small tank (50 litres) evo!

A 5L tub will do the job, usually 4.5 litres fills the engine nicely giving you some extra for topping up later on

I took that attitude once on Pepipoo based on post-accident photos. It turned out a motorcyclist had cut up the car driver then braked hard forcing the car driver to take evasive action and I had to eat humble pie. From that pic, a kid could have run out or anything forcing the Subaru driver to do something out of the normal. You really can't say unless you know the facts and circumstances.

AFAIK the driver was ok, think the subaru was blue (it happened in the morning so darkish 7.30am)

The more I think about it, the more I think it was stolen, but we havnt heard of any blue stolen scoobs lately!

A guy from my work last thursday was travelling between Crossgates & Dalgety Bay at approx 40 mph knowing that around the next bend there was roadworks, (this is an older guy).

A subaru impreza goes flying past him before the bend. As he goes round the bend he see's the subaru slam on the brakes and smash right into the back of a mazda mx5 that was stopped at the roadworks. It gets worse than that though, this may have just been an accident.

The subaru then decided to reverse. The guy in the mx5 gets out of his car. The subaru put the foot down to flee from the incident...in the process running into & knocking down the driver of the mx5.

The guy from my work attempted to keep up with the subaru but couldnt. Police were involved etc. The mazda couldnt be driven away!

I don't know the reg, colour or age of this subaru but anybody in Fife or surrounding area that has just smashed the front of their car should be ashamed of themselves!

he hee.. It'll be faster!! That's just above WRX PPPv2 performance and although the smaller WRX turbo doesn't give out as much boost as the ones fitted on the STi it spins up quicker and gives you boost earlier.. You'll need to spend lots of ££££'s to get a faster accelerating car.. Turbo, injectors,fuel pump .. But it really goes to show just how restricted the standard cars are!

Shame the STi has better suspension set-up
