  1. just fitted a set of megan headers on my mottor but must say now well peed off,they are unequal but i seem to of lost a bit of noise from the exhaust.thought the car might get a bit louder with these on,is this normal and is it time to go get an afterburner exhaust?
  2. i use a couple of diff products for wheels when they have cack caked on....autobrite do a pretty good alloy wheel cleaner and also nielson....both acid based so not to be left on for long...neilsen stuff is good and thick and seems to shift most after a scrub with a stiff brush.....if you have no joy with the poorboys i can send you a little sample to try bud....

  4. had one in at work before with similar problem,turned out rad was partialy blocked,tried flushing through with pressure washer and all looked ok but still overheated,fired in new rad then no probs.may not be same prob with you though if engine has got a missfire.
  5. im an all call mechanic this weekend otherwise would of loved this,things like this always come up when busy,such is life.good luck anyway.
  6. jump starting is not good unless you have surge protectors.....if this is only way,leave leads on for about ten mins before attempting to start..some leads are just not big enough to start modern cars,other options are get a battery or phone breakdown club if in one and they will use a jump pack and get you going.

  8. hose clips are a good option for rattling header heat sheilds...either cut a couple of slots and thread through as to catch one half of sheild and pipe...or wrap right round sheild and clamp as tight as poss...
  9. not so good but on the plus side it should be easily repairable
