sti pretender
Best price for KYB shocks I could find was £140 each. Graham Walker Ltd are doing them on ebay for £90 each for all models. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SUBARU-FRONT-SHOCKS-...%3A1%7C294%3A50 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SUBARU-REAR-STI-SHOC...%3A1%7C294%3A50 Link to comment
14N-FR
Camskill are even cheaper than that. Two rear shocks for my 04 STi cost £170 delivered. Link to comment
sti pretender
Hadn't tried Camskill £220 delivered for pair of fronts getting them £190 delivered from Graham Walker. Should say 2006 STI, better than £800 quoted from dealer although did include fitting. Link to comment
G.T.
has anybody tried these shocks are they any good Link to comment
mystery machine
Echoing the above, does anyone know how these compare with the OEM items? Have to think ahead to when I can no longer claim relacements under warranty... Link to comment
14N-FR
I am by no means a Scooby expert (only had the Scooby for 4 weeks), but I am running them and they dont feel any different in terms of damping to the standard STi shocks. Link to comment
camcq
as far as i know KYB make the shockies as standard for subaru? as i got a new set for the sport and when i took off the originals they were KYB/subaru. And the car has been owned by my father from day one. Link to comment
sti pretender
KYB's are the standard for Subaru's. My front's went a month out of warranty and dealer wanted £800 for supply and fit. Went for BC's but to low for everyday although ride quality is about the same. Going to go back to Prodrive springs and KYB shock but need the new fronts. Link to comment
mystery machine
Thanks for the info Prodrive springs + KY Jelly shocks sound like an option well worth considering once the warranty's kaput. The RB320 setup - Bilstein dampers + Eibach springs - is appealing too. Never priced it, but I imagine we're talking big £££££s... Link to comment
