frank c Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 Anyone else had problems with Dunc getting back in touch with them ? Went through 2 or 3 weeks ago to get my geometry done and had to hang around for 2-3 hrs as he forgot to book me in. I then asked him about fitting some parts for me and he said ..send me an E-mail and we'll sort something out but Nothing !! Is he really busy, forgetful or just not interested ? It doesn't really fill me with confidece about taking the car through a second time..[:|]
kennyf Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 Mines is there just now. Can't fault Duncan for communication as he always returns my calls and keeps me updated. Maybe best to call them mate, I'm sure they shut up shop at about 6pm though. I choose them as searching against them on here only shows good feedback.
scoobymark Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 Used dunc plenty of times on my scoob, even done a timing belt for me on me weekday diesel laguna.. top service everytime. give him a call, 6pm is an early finish for him, usually nearer 9pm most nights.. Mark
des_curran Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 I've been using Hypertech for a couple of years now and i have never had any problems with the service i've received, Duncan has been working on my car many a time at all hours of the night, i would say the service he gives is first class. He is always very busy m8, so he most likely just forgot, i wouldnt think for one minute that he isnt interested, best bet would be to give him a call as like i say he is always busy[]

sma01 Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 Dunc has done a load of work for me over the years and the service is always first class, he is always busy, morning, noon and even late at night and usually weekends as well. it sounds like a small oversight, and although it took you a couple of hours, he still got the job done for you and fitted you in the day you were meant to be done when he could have easily have sent you on your way since he didnt have the booking marked in the diary...easiest way to get in touch with him is by phone, if he's not there then ask alex to book you in.... scott
marky.t.s Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 received an e-mail from Alex today in reply to an e-mail i had sent last week, she said they have been very, very, very busy, and on top of that the dugs have been ill. she didnt have to tell me that, but she did ,which i thought was pretty decent of her. anyway as mentioned above ,Duncan has worked on my car till at least 10 pm on one occasion, and has bent over backwards to help myself and others i know many times. top team and know their stuff, cant fault them.[Y]
frank c Posted May 16, 2007 Author Posted May 16, 2007 Got a reply from Dunc today but I've already booked my car in elsewhere. Thanks for the feedback guys..[]

[Y] Spoke to Dunc when i was through and he thought it would take about 3hrs for thje work, got an e-mail yesterday and he said it would take 5-6hrs,,[:|] So, roll on next week and the parts will be fitted.
