Make good use of the approved subaru trained technicians and the great discounts we get[Y]

You get a full 12 months warranty with all repairs carried out by Subaru Aberdeen, Piece of mind is a great thing, knowing that its done right, no short cuts, no RAF methods etc.[;)]

Kev is not highly spoken of for nothing[:)]

Gonna no do that, gonna no.

Have you never heard the saying let sleeping dogs lye

? Dont know what you mean, I am just advising, and indeed what i myself would do.

After all your car is a decent investment, and you want it done right, And IMHO there is only one way to do that, and that is use an approved Subaru garage, especially in this area. There are others in Perth and Glasgow, established businesses that i hear are very good, but the chap asked in the Aberdeen area.

I have just recently had a bhp developments stamp put in my service book. Russell often does not claim for time that he takes to do the job right. Lets just say I said "is that all" when he told me how much it was.

Add that to the 35+ hours he spent on the mods to my car and you cant fault him [Y]

I too will highly recommend Kev @ Town and County in Aberdeen. His workmanship that I have seen is first class and there are several guys right now getting their cars modded by him.

HOWEVER..........

Is Kev the ONLY GUY who will service your car?............he is the ONLY one I would trust there.

Craig Mac has put a lot of time and effort into getting SIDC club members a great deal at T&C and has to be commended for that. Use them, or whoever you wish, as it is your pride and joy that is being looked at after all. YOU need to be happy that the work is being done the way you want it.

Kev certainly meets the grade when it comes to workmanship (unlike me, apparently) and you will be well looked after by him so if you feel that is worth the extra money you pay Subaru then don't think about it, go to T & C.

ps - I supply a similar warranty on NEW PARTS .........................Used parts I don't as the previous owner of said USED PART may have really stressed that part beyond what it is capable of withstanding and only sold it on to get rid of it before it blew up[:)]

ps - do Town and County supply 12 month warranty on their servicing?

cheers for your help but i didnt think t&c looked at imported cars??

T&C serviced my import no problem. I don't live in Aberdeen, but am from there originally and happened to be in the area when it needed a service so used them. No issues at all - apart from them adding me to their junk mailing list, but every dealer does that!

I highly recommend Mr Wuz too [Y] .............used him since I have had my car and have been very pleased to date. I cannot recount the numbers of favours he has done for me in the past.

I use T&C too for some things though - e.g geo- alignment - have found no issues with them but they do seem to develop rubber ears when I complain about rear shockers knocking. Having said that it is a VERY common problem that Subaru UK in general have never fully knocked on the head so c'est la vie.........I find the guys in the parts dept are exceptionally efficient and friendly ( Phil, older dude & Neil)

If they employed a Peregrine they might get rid of the doo doo hawks though. I feel for the guy who washes the cars every day. He must have seen more guano than a South American nest collector [+o(]

I also like the SIDC discount for buying things like PFF7's etc

Nice wagon you have there sir by the way

Cheers

*Edited out as I've decided to contact the new owner of a certain ex-Aberdeen STi9 rather than paste it all up on here*
