hammy Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 as above how do you remove a subaru head unit. do you just use the normal head unit tools or any thing differnt.
st3ph3n Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 What model of car? There's a great guide on scoobynet ICE section.
wrxmania Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 Pull of the fascia surround - being careful with the clips - you need to unscrew the cupholder first. When the fascia is off you'll see the bolts holding the worst car stereo ever made in place - can you believe its a Kenwood. You'll need an adaptor kit (fascia plate) and a wiring loom for the new head unit you are fitting if you've not already got them? Brian [] PS Pleanty of guides to this online - try Scoobynet or search on here for info. Or try IWOC also.
