NEW WHEELS & FLAPS - updated pics.

Wanted to go for a more discreet look, so out went the Gold and in came the Bright Flitter. Added some Prodrive Flaps for protection, and the new additions seems to make the car look meaner.

Big thanks to Gav, Charlie and the rest of the guys at Ian Grieve for the parts and great service. Also cheers to all who answered my tyre questions, ended up going for Toyo T1Rs sourced from Jim Dickson (top bloke and service).

Cheers for all the positive comments guys. Very happy with the wheels wasn`t sure what to pick, fancied the Speedline Turinis in Anthricite but have defo made the right choice. Looks like a new car again! [;)]

IMHO it looks much better now mate [Y]

I have never been sure about gold rims on a silver car

Know what you mean mate. The car had the Gold from new, but I wanted to use the tyres up before upgrading to the bigger wheels. (My car is actually Crystal Grey not Silver [;)]) IMO Gold looks best with WR Blue.

Stunning. I don't think gold is the best colour of wheels on a silver (crystal grey) car, but those wheels realy compliement the body colour well. Very nice.

Looks a lot better. I have a Crystal Grey 06 STi myself and had been wondering about swapping the wheels (well keep the gold ones for winter tyres).

Think you've helped me make up my mind [;)]
