rossyboy1 Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 Some cheeky fecker has been in the garage today and pinched my standard alloys. Totally immaculate set of 16 " MY95/96 WRX vintage with some just about legal tyres. Just to make folks aware in case any pop up for sale anywhere [8o|] They left various power tools alone for some reason [*-)]
kloon Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 Will keep an eye oot for the thievin scrotes trying to pass them on [:@]
scoobyiain Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 That is shocking news mate, gutted for you. Will keep an eye out also.
johns Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 Shocking news [] Will keep my eyes and ears open if they come up for sale. I'd make sure that the garage is secured again, in case they decide to come back for the power tools. John
Richie Cross Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 B*****ds! [8o|] Think it was an opportunist trying your garage on the way past or maybe they had cased the place if they left the power tools behind? Do you mind telling me if your garage was secured at all or left open? Reason I ask is that I've just placed one of those Garage Defenders in front of mine. Sold Secure they say.....unless they got past yours! What goes around comes around.....they'll get theirs!
rossyboy1 Posted April 4, 2007 Author Posted April 4, 2007 I have to say that the garage was unlocked. Totally bizarre that they only took the wheels though. I reckon someone has seen me coming out of the garage in the car or seen the wheels there when the car has been getting washed. Police took less than half an hour to turn up for the finger print check. Well impressed! No prints though. Really annoyed as they were perfect condition.
cullenmin Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 Shocking news min, keep an eye out in the local paper and also ebay for a couple of months, you never know your luck, they just might turn up! Rich
Alan-G Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 Thats really nasty. Can I say one thing though, if you buy a new hawkeye from motor-depot,motorpoint etc, they normally have no locking wheel nuts. My motor sat outside for 2 weeks with brand new (standard) alloys and brand new tyres before it clicked. They would have been untraceable.
