Which Spark Plugs ?...

Looking to replace my plugs but not to sure what to go for was thinking of NGK PFR7B would they be the best sort for the set up of my car???

I have a sti v3 import, full decat, rcm headers, larger fuel pump, power fc and a d/v.

Try Andrew Watt in Orr St Glasgow.01415547816, i got mine there and paid 39.95 inc vat ans it was the NGK PFR7B ones

OZ...go to Greers and get the Iridium ones fitted for mucho good price.[;)]

Like how much Pedro? As I can sit on my erse even longer if i dont have to fit them either[:(] seems like a fackin pesky job tae get in tae fit them[:S] what do you use to get in aboot the block?

I think it's £50 ish for the platinums and £10 more for the Iridium so why bother doing it yourself for £10ish more.

I know and it would cost you more in petrol to get there unless you was wanting to get other things done at a good price at the same time

There is other stuff i want doing but Hypertech are now only 3 miles from my office so, i'll see Dunc and see what he would take or.........just get aff my erse n do it myself.[;)]

Think I'll buy mine online! will cost me more than £2 odd to drive to glesga or Edinburger. And I can sit on my fat arse until they arrive[:$]

Gus its pretty easy on a classic mate, on the dvrs side remove the airbox and the bracket from the chassis leg. On the Pass side remove battery and wash bottle and you shold have enough room. The last few nights ive got expert at removing/refitting plugs trying to narrow my problem down! 12mm spanner for the coil packs remember the bolts are captive! Decent plug wrench etc and your away. If its to tight to get in with your tools you can always undo the bottom engine mounts and jack the lump up to clear the chassis leg on the pass side. I used a 3/8 drive without doing the latter.

Your a brave man Gus.  I watched my mate change mine and vowed never to attempt that!   Plus he needed skin grafts after the damange to his hands and wrists.  Mind you that was without the advice above and from underneath while it was on the ramp.
