Just need to get shell to install a v-power pump at the house..SOONDoes a remap mean that you have to switch to V Power or other higher octane fuel? Or can the remap still work with 95 RON?
st3ph3n Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 John, if the car is mapped on regular then you run it on regular (or better). If it's mapped on v-power then you run it on v-power. If it's mapped on v-power with 10% methanol then you run it on that etc. etc. etc. I'm sure if it would run on milk then you could map it on that!

scientific steve Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 same vote for andy from myself FINALLY got my car mapped from andy on tuesday this in was also an issue due to the fact that i was sent offshore over the weekend [] but somehow i was able to find a good mate who was able to take my car down to AWD and get the car seen too think it may have something to do with the drive back up the road that convinced him [] must admit, i was at my wits end on tuesday avo, me mates mobile battery ran out half an hour after he left abz and i had no way of getting intouch apart from calling AWD and i did'nt want to pi$$ off the lads there by calling up every 5 mins to find out how it was going but after a couple of hours enough was enough and i had to call, and found out that everything went as it should of [] here's a copy of the e-mail i got from andy Hi steve It was going well, running really smooth now [] I'd estimate around 380bhp and 330/340lbft torque. Most importantly, she pops and bangs like a good un on the overrun !!! lol. regards Andy well chuffed [] also a BIG thank you to ALL the lads at AWD for pulling out all the stops to get the issue sorted on me engine Thank you all again [Y]
