Pulleys and tensioner or not?

Is it worth my while whilst doing the timing belt replacing all the pulleys? ie

Adjuster Pulley

idler Pulleys (x2)

Toothed Pulley

Car has only done 43k approx and it wil be its first belt from the info I have ....or is it just when you get the bigger figures (miles) ie onto 2nd and third belts that these are replaced?

Once you've got the belt off, if the pulleys spin freely, and they sound a bit "wirry" then they're getting a bit loose, they could quite probably last for some time like this but it's impossible to quantify. If they turn nice and smoothly by hand but cant be spun the seals are still in good shape and they "should be ok" but if you can afford to, it wouldn't be a bad idea to change them while you've got the chance, i cant say i've ever heard of a main idler pulley failing, tensioner maybe, but if one of them did, the cost of replacing them in hindsight would seem pretty reasonable.

i got ma timing belt changed last year, n as it was, needed the tensioner replaced aswell, think the tension cost about £130, id rather pay that than for a new engine.

Was gonna get the pulley kit as I got the belt brand new FOC so thought it might be worth changing them if doing the belt anyway. I think i'll just go ahead.

Mine was the same last month, £130 for the cambelt tensioner because it was broke (seized I think), if you can afford it then change it I'd say.
