gus the bus Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 Mechanics amongst us is the Dayco (manufacturer) timing belt a recognised make to fit on the scoob? Been offered one to fit my car but not sure if this is a decent make or not!? Help please! [:S]

WUZ Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 I use the Dayco belts on the usual 'standard' and "standard-ish" cars, but I use a kevlar belt on the "more than standard-ish" cars ie, mine and a few 2.5-converted Scoobs running round Aberdeen (1 P1 and 1 STI8). Highly recommended! Russell
