Great day out, grinning from ear to ear all day[:D]

Thanks to the group organisers for all the planning.

Thanks to Jac for setting the spirited pace and amusing mark jnr with those flames!!

Thanks to Jim for 10,000 stone chips, everyone was worth it!! Did'nt get a scoob to drive slow!

Well done to guy in the S3 for keeping up with us, not sure if his brakes were up to it, as i am sure he thought as braking hard behind me.

Mark Jnr had a great day especially playing in the snow, his pals will never believe him, he also has 3 full sets of V Power cards already.

As mentioned by everyone else, was a great day and a big thanks to Grant, Imy and co. for organising this.

Was my first run and definately not my last. Just need to make sure I dont have a coolant leak next time [:D]

My mate with the S3 really enjoyed himself and was chuffed with how well he did in the 2nd fastest group.

Excellent piccies Marty [Y]

I finally uploaded all mine to my flickr account (80'ish photos), and resized them to 1024x768. If anyone wants the original just ask! I also removed the number plates from them just in case [|-)]

Here's a few of my favourites:

Absolutely fantastic day!!

Well done all involved in organising – Squirrel, Higgy, Imy etc – couldn’t fault it.

Dougie C and myself stayed in the slow? group all day and had a blast, although Doug still has a sore back!!

Attached below are some pics – thanks Doug – not up to some of the earlier standard but most taken through a grubby screen!

It’s also hard to believe they were all taken on the same day, let alone in the same country!

Hope you enjoy as much as we did!!!

oh and, uRaBu5 (Derek?) Those pics I think are fantastic, even if the are not quite as good technicallly as some of the pics posted already, they more than capture the spirit of the day, and to be honest I was looking forward to seeing more pics like that from the day...

Gave the car a wash yesterday first time since the run and what a mess:(

Have hundreds of stone chips, some are huge even the painted wedges in the bumper are nearly orange again! Subaru paint work is pretty thin and to make matters worse the bumper is black underneath the tiny covering of white paint![:@]

I had my bodywork checked with a paint thickness indicator before polishing it and it read approx 85 microns over whole car compared to 160+ on other cars so yes subaru paint is very thin.
