fai17 Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Kev runs a 5sp box where as Higgy runs a heavy weight 6 sp box. My money would be on Kev's car too but it will be really interesting[]
sma01 Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 congrats on the result Simon, thats good going... "fastest newage in scottish scoobies" which car is this referring too??sounds interesting, what sort of power is that car running??i do like a challenge[] scott
higgy Posted March 9, 2007 Author Posted March 9, 2007 im not sure if i will be going to crail as the last time i went i had mager problems with heat soke and the car was not running to its full potential . Only time will tell[] Knokhill on the other hand .................................................... i will see you there on a few outings this year. Higgy
~ ~ Cal ~~ Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 I suppose "fastest" requires definition ! Torque makes a rapid car "point to point" whereas a powerful car ( bhp) make for a higher top end. So either a dyno run on the same set-up / same day is required OR a "dance-off" equivalent at Knockhill [] What's the cut-off for making the grade ? Anything less than 380 bhp need not apply ? CGS ( soon to be 320 [:$] bhp)
rapidcossie Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 i have seen a DD print out for ALOT more than 410/420 bhp on a scottish newage[]
uRaBu5 Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 Higgy, A big THANK YOU for today! Car is truly awesome – thought I was happy with mine until today! Still smiling and i’m sure the whiplash will ease when the deepheat kicks in. Thanks again Derek
higgy Posted March 11, 2007 Author Posted March 11, 2007 i have seen a DD print out for ALOT more than 410/420 bhp on a scottish newage[] im not worried as there is one that you have all forgoten about and when its finished it will be running around 480 bhp.......................... Higgy
