lessels Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 have any of you guys used one of these?,they are on ebay now for 190 quid and apparently they raise boost set fuel and timing properly and is claimed to raise up to 290bhp on a pre 96 turbo or wrx, with an induction and exhaust system obviously. cheers
lessels Posted February 17, 2007 Author Posted February 17, 2007 hi mate,i take it you have tried it and if so what sort of power gains did you get? and how easy is it to fit,you get instructions but is it plug in and play? i see you have to cut a resistor on the wrx ecu once installed, cheers again
johnnyr6 Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 A scoobyecu raises the boost to about 1.1 bar so there is no fuel cut probs and alters the fueling etc to compensate. So as you'll have a 0.2 bar boost increase the car will feel quicker. Not sure how much more power you'll make though but it wil be a bit more. You'll need to get a extra chip board soldered onto your ecu though to take the scoobyecu chip.
