d19yda Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 in the light cover of snow we had last week i was tempted to have some car park fun, anyone know what the power distribution is to the front and back wheels? eg 60% to the front 40% to the rear or 50/50 just so i can find out wether its going to be tail happy if we get any more snow. st3ph3n Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Unless you have DCCD then it's 50/50. Unless I'm very very wrong.
marky.t.s Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 is that what asymetrical AWD means then St3ph3n?[]
jamie_wood Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Davie, Is thew car a Uk Car, WRX or STI??? There are a couple of splits depending on year and car. 45/55 most probably
jamie_wood Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Quote is that what asymetrical AWD means then St3ph3n?[] Subarus have Symmetrical AWD systems. To simplify, its down to the engine being In Line and allowing the drive shafts to be equal lengths, prop running down the middle of the car, etc. Cut the car down the middle and she would be "symmetrical" so to speak.
RS Grant Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 I always thought that the UK Classics were front biased... Cheers, Grant
