sheep Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 Speak to scoobyseller ( gav ) i am sure he will be able to sort you out.
gus the bus Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 Any Subaru Dealer can get them (winglets) for you. I think they are c.£120 if memory serves me well. Scott Lowe make a splitter for the blobeye WRX tho that doesnt need the "winglets". Check out their website. http://www.scottlowe.co.uk/Scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=10 Gus
craig_harey Posted December 29, 2006 Author Posted December 29, 2006 i had heard them being reffered to as winglets but wasn t sure do they just fit on to wrx bumper and still look as smooth as the sti ones do or do they need filler in them from a body shop? i will check scott lowes website cheers gus
gus the bus Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 you will either need to drill a couple of holes (either side) to fit the winglets onto your WRX (inside fittings on your car). all other connections are straight forward. Or you can do what I did when I had them fitted to the WRX and cut these 2 lugs off and use heavy duty spoiler tape (double sided tape) to stick them on. Worked very well[Y] If you do get them you will also need to buy 8 (I think) fitting lugs/gromits as I dont think these are supplied with the winglets. Check with Gav/ Charlie at Ian Grieve. If you do go the winglets route give me a shout as I'd easily fit them for you. Heres a couple of pics with them fitted to my car (jings ma car has changed a bit since then[]) Cheers Gus
