colin_ross Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Apexi good, blitz not so good. It like opening a can of worms really mate. What type of car is it going on and are you still running a maf?
WUZ Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Blitz NO, NO, NO! Doesn't filter out diddle squat in terms of what the K&N and Apexi can do. Apexi or K&N is just what you need, I know of a K&N induction kit from a 98 RA going for sale! £45 I think he wants. It's only done 15K. Russell
shaun_odonnell Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 Blitz - Avoid. K&N - Better Apexi - Can't really do much better.
dan_jess Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 I had the Apexi on my old scoob and thought it was fine but i read Autosalon mag in Australia, they had done a test of all induction kits, which included all top manufacturers and the results werent very good for most of them, K+N was the best by far, so i no what i'll be using next time []

Hepy Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 What about the APS kits, are they any good? Having said that I think they use K+N filters with their cold air intake kits.
scientific steve Posted December 20, 2006 Author Posted December 20, 2006 i e-mailed their head office and asked if they did a cold air induction kit for my car and guess whit? for some unbeknown fer*** reason they dont do one for the MY98 sti why? was my next question and the responce was that the demands for that type did not reach their financial supply requirements ie canny be airsed to make any more []
