emissions help!

my 93 wrx failed its mot on a couple of minor things tyre fog light and my small front no plate! but also failed on its emissions just wondered whats the best things to do to get it through please?

go to somewhere that is mot friendly with emissions mate.

the guys usually are its just they have a new manager and i think thats the problem plus id have to pay for a whole new test if i go somewhere else but then again it might be worth it to get it through i take it from what i have read on here and other scooby sites they can me a bit of a mare for the emissions test?

Try AWD motorsport in Perth - they're MOT station may be able to help, alongside AWD to get you through your MOT.  You don't need CAT's etc for your MOT due to age and the fact the car's an import []

cheers guys im going to buy and fit a decat pipe in the new year anyway but i had to fix a small hole in my pipe next to the cat so hopefully that should help with the emissions im going to add some cleaner service it and give it a good run before i take it in tomorrow

Neil - i've PM'd you a place in Livi that MIGHT be able to help - they were helpful to me at MOT time last year.
