bigdavie Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 pull the front drive shafts out . would i still have a reliable gearbox ?? even would it still work ? as i reckon a 2wd scoob would be well cool !! cheers for the replys people !
steven_williams Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 Would have one heck of a oil leak. Dont think it would drive due to the differential within the gearbox. Having seen the bonus CD for Tokyo Drift thay converted the EVo to rearwheel drive only and had todo work on the internals.
st3ph3n Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 There's also a couple of D1 Imprezas in Japan with disconnected front wheels. Both new age and older GC8 cars.. However for a road car - we'd take the front drive shafts you disconnect then beat some sense into you with them.
euan_r Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 oil wouldnt leak but u have to take out oil slip plate thingies out of box and weld them together. it has been done before but cant remember the link. lol, at stephen {we'd take the front drive shafts you disconnect then beat some sense into you with them.}
