STi_Bandit Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 Been browsing Scoobyworld and I noticed that they now do the Ninja Downpipe with Fast flow Cat for the Newage cars for 299.99 which is obviouslly considerably cheaper than the TSL system i was looking at getting. My question is does the downpipe connect to the orginal centre section i have or the mid cat? if its the centre section then ill be buying this. I would normally ring scoobyworld but currently at work :-( Bandit
eurosti Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 Just phoned Scoobyworld and the lad i spoke to said the Ninja bolts to the next Cat along the system, if that helps you in any way. I assume thats the mid cat told him your car was 04 model.
Nelsdir Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 I'm keeping my eye on the usual places for the Prodrive one. They claim that it has only a 2bhp overhead on a de-cat. Go for about 200 earth-pounds.
~ ~ Cal ~~ Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 Beware that PPP high flow cats from the STi do not fit a WRX. I have tried in the past and the brackets were not the same plus it was not a perfect fit. The PPP cat is also 200 cell whereas the Ninja & Thundercat are 100 cell. £299 for the Ninja is a good price in my opinion CGS
ormiboy Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 hi bandit im afraid i cant help with this one but i do know that you cant get them from b&q mate take it easy. Willie

_jac_ Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 Thanks Peter yes its for sale just advertised it now...
Guest AlanK Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 If my car has PPP does that it mean it already has a sport cat downpipe... In which case, what am I not driving down to see AndyF in the morning? I dont have a newage like Bandit but have been looking at getting this sports cat and perhaps a decat centre section for a Classic since I bought my car. Looks ideal and I would imagine the same for the newage who doesn't want to muck around for MOTs. But I clearly dont know much about what I am doing here and thoughts this, then Andy F, was my next step.... [:$]
