Police Information needed

Hi all,

Was out for a little run in the car today coming back on the A82 from the Balloch roundabout to the next roundabout I had a young boy in a Golf gti behind me so I put my foot done a little to get up to ***mph. I did notice there was a car coming onto the A82 at the Renton on I think it is (the on slip road that joins before you go over the river leven) so I pull into the fast lane and go by not going flat out and the boy in the golf is still behind me.

At the roundabout the golf goes hard right and go head straights through at which point I see Blue flashing light in my rear view mirror !!! SH*T, SH*T, SH*T i think I pull over just where they have the hire cars vans etc.. used to be a petrol station - anyhow the guy and women in the blue vectra pull up beside me then just drive off and they turn in the police head quarters !!! I just can't understand why they put on the blue lights just to pull me over then driver away.

Now I dont know how long a police car has to be following you to record you speed? anyone? because when I passed the vectra when it was coming onto the A82 and the Golf was only about 200yrds away from me - so I am thinking if they had a camera on board it would of have a couple of seconds of me and then the Golf.

I am in one way thinking that the guy in the vectra could not do anything so he thought he would let me know he was there and scare the sh*t out of me, if so he achieved it nicely.

Anyone any thoughts on this..........

Cheers,

Alan.

It was probably doughnut time - and NOTHING gets in the way of doughnut time (either that or his Chinese takeway was getting cold) [:@]

That's the difference between coppers and cameras. Coppers have discretion.
