Ticking sound

Yesterday noticed a stange ticking sound coming nfrom the left bank

right under the ait intake. its a different sound from the ussual

engine ticking sound. is quite worrying.

any rough ideas what it could be?

Sounds like the boost solnoid, start to go tic tic tic all the time when on boost??? if it is you need some rubber between this and the car's body to absorb the click..noise

or it could be the injectors sometimes they click I think but not 100% sure as different makes tend to be quite/noisy

boosnt solionoid? have noticed a loss of boost recently. hope its not

down the crapper again, had a new one fitted by subaru 5months ago
