scooby-girl Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 HI I'm wanting to know which are the best mudflaps to get for MY02 Sti : Scoobyworld premium style at £150 or Scott Lowe at £148 ? Many Thanks Jen[]
craig mac Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Jen I got mine from performance creations on ebay for less than half that and they are great[Y]
scooby-girl Posted November 21, 2006 Author Posted November 21, 2006 Graig Mac I've seen those ones! But was unsure if they would last as long as the dearer ones? Jen[]
craig mac Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Jen They are great, i had to get another set as i reversed over one at an Auto cross in a field [:$] As others stood and watched too[] But they come with all the fittings and st.stl brackets for fitting, and fitting takes about 20 mins[Y] They have 2 height settings and i had them on the lowest and then the car was lowered, hence the reverse oops.....
kloon Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 Jen They are great, i had to get another set as i reversed over one at an Auto cross in a field [:$] As others stood and watched too[] But they come with all the fittings and st.stl brackets for fitting, and fitting takes about 20 mins[Y] They have 2 height settings and i had them on the lowest and then the car was lowered, hence the reverse oops..... What was you expecting us to do, dive under yer rear wheel while you was reversing to save the mudflap ? []
st3ph3n Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 The scott lowe ones get my thumbs up, but the cheaper ones certainly seem to be pretty decent too. I had mine set on the lowest setting front and back, but ended up chopping an inch off the front ones as they were REALLY scraping with the Tein springs on the car.
scooby-girl Posted November 22, 2006 Author Posted November 22, 2006 I'm gonna try the cheap ones from performance creations! Many Thanks Jen[]
woody-cdas Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Jen, I know this was a while back now but I am going to order some mudflaps - how did you get on with the Performance creations ones? Cheers, Matt.

Was thinking of getting the Performance Creations ones myself. I presume they come with instructions on how to fit etc? Any new holes required on a 2002 WRX as the thought of wielding a drill anywhere near it fills me with dread! <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
scooby-girl Posted April 2, 2007 Author Posted April 2, 2007 HI THEY LOOK GREAT! , BUT MINE DIDN'T COME WITH THE STAINLESS STEEL BRACKETS! - I GOT BLACK PLASTIC ONES FOR SOME REASON![8-)] I FOUND THAT THEY DIDN'T FIT AS EASY AS I WAS HOPING FOR AND I WILL HAVE TO DRILL A HOLE FOR THE FRONT TWO. BUT AS I SAY THEY DO LOOK GREAT WHEN THERE ON![] JEN
scooby-girl Posted April 2, 2007 Author Posted April 2, 2007 HI JAMES MINES A 2002 STI AND I NEED TWO HOLES FOR THE FRONT - ONE FOR EACH SIDE JEN
