Guys, would fitting an HKS de-cat downpipe make any difference over the prodrive kit that my STi has fitted already?

Downpipe will make a huge difference most people recomend bellmouth type though h.k.s one apparently restricts wastegate opening.

You're running a much larger risk of something going wrong if you dont re-map it mate...

It all depends whether you run OB and whether  you drive your car hard or not....

Better to be safe than sorry so a remap after a decat downpipe would be best.

hi Al, you would notice a difference but i dont think it would be a huge one as youl have the hi flow sports cat as part of the prodrive kit. and bear in mind that youl need to swap the cat back in come mot time.
