boost settings

just had the car up for it's mot and thought i'd set the apexi at it's lowest setting for the boost

to save some scrote from tooling about at high speed round the car park   [:@]

but found the car so much easier to drive around town !!!

does anyone else turn or set it to the lower setting for driving around town and then bang it up when their having a bit of a blast ??????

 

oh, and it failed on the emisions   []

what a surprise !!! but no time to change over the zorst due to knockers the morrow, so back it goes next week for the change over and re-sit  []

When i had my rs boost was always set to standard for driving about town and when i was going for some b-road blasts i turned it up.

Shame i forgot to put it up when i was at crail last []

yeh I also have the apexi power fc and hand unit, had mine in for the MOT about a month ago and set the boost to the lowest also reduced the rev limit to 4500rpm to stop any unwanted abuse of the engine [:@]. After MOT all back to normal not really tried driving about at the lowest setting before.

I use an apexi b setting of about 0.75 bar when the roads are wet or damp.  Stops it wheel spinning in 4th so I make it home.

Dry days get the full 1.5 bar treatment.

No need to use boost in town with a 30mph limit so my settings always stay on high boost for the open roads.[Y]

Same as above, i have the switchable map in my wrx but its never been on the low boost setting.[]

you do when your going thru the Hadagaun Roundabout during the rush hours   [][]

it's just i've notice that it's a lot smoother to drive thats all, i'd never given it much thought before
