Christmas rally

Well then who is up for a christmas meet...

 

There is a rally on at jurby on the 3rd of december which is on a sunday.  It is a one day event with 8 stages around Jurby air field, which will make very good spectating.

Ye know i will be there John.[].  Lets just imagine what it would be like if more than 2 or 3 cars can make it this time.[]. Maybe a bit of kart racing could be involved, if enough was up to it.

Well yes karting would be fun, but I was thinking of  speaking to the rally organisers to see if we could have a go on some of the stages after they have finished

As it's a sunday we will be up for it wheter we wil bring both cars will be down to how we feel on the day but defo 1 car will be there.

Yes it is the same.. I will get the times as of when the rally is going to start...

Well yes Dave we all hope that you have a good time...

I was chatting to my father in law today and he may pop out with us for a drive. So now we will have 3-4 scoobys and 1 monaro.

Okay then what I was thinking of doing was to all meet up at the grandstand at about 10:00-10:30am.  Then head out for a drive before going to watch the rally. 

Was thinking of going from the Grandstand and headding off to Baldwin then up to Brandywell Cottage.  Back up to the Mountain then back down in to Tholt - E - Will and then off to Jurby for the BURGER VAN!!! I mean the rally

Well as you all know its not long before the big meet. So what time would you all like to meet up, I have been trying to get in touch with the christmas rally organisers to try and get some info on what time they are going to start and if we could get on the airfiled or have a go on one of the 8 stages that they are setting up after they have had their fun...

But noone seems to be getting back to me.  I have been given someones phone number and I will give them a phone and let you all know what the out come is...

As a Stage Commander for the International Rally, i think i can tell you the Answer.

Not a Cat's Chance!! Mostly down to insurance reasons

And i believe that 10am was posted up as the start time at the Grandstand

Yep. I think you have to wait for a trackday to have a spin on there John.[]. And you still have to pay for your car yourself if you bust it. Anyway there are plenty of other roads to play on.[].
