Gumball Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 looking to undertsand if the warranty/glasss will be replaced on the classics by subaru due to the missing rubber guides on the inside of the doors. The glass gets scratched due to this and rumour has it that the glass will be replaced by scoob even if the car is out of warranty. This is a RB5 model anyone know what the score is?
frank c Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Never heard anything about this Chris but would be interested to hear the outcome. Frank

jcscoob Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Me too, i think there are loads like that ! [:|]
ally-b Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 I asked S&S about this when I had my previous '99 scoob with extended warranty . They said it should have been noticed and dealt with at service checks . [] Al.
Nelsdir Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 My own RB5 and STi Wagon had the same problem. I believe that the glass/runners could be replaced early in the warranty i.e. I think you might be hard pushed to get it on an extended warranty now?? Maybe Gav or Russ would know Neil
road warrior Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 Yup same here, drivers window is scratched a lot, damn annoying..
cullenmin Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 Mines the same, would be nice to have them replaced....for free by Subaru [] Rich
