Quickest round a track? Up a 1/4 mile? Through the M8 from Edinburgh to Glasgow at the dead of night with no traffic?

1/4 mile is Kevametal in his 03 WRX which was Andy F's old car. It's running circa 400/400.

Craig Mac, Mr Orkney's ex-Gumball owned "the deathstar" and Peter (Fai17) are next in the official 1/4 mile listings. Although the deathstar hasn't run a 1/4 in its current trim AFAIK.

Who has the quickest new age's in scotland?

how much bhp do they have?

Why you asking? Is there another challanger entering? I hope so, it just makes me spend more money, and i like spending money[;)]

BHP makes fast cars. Torque makes quick cars.

Edit to say - that's not BHP as in Wuz, but the measurement itself. Although he has been known to make a decent car [;)]

Mr Orkney has a car at around 430+bhp which is the most powerful standard 2 litre that we know of newage wise.

Was that with the top mount?[;)] What Turbo were you running Chris?

I never thought it was as much as that? When was that achieved Gumball? Was that with the TD06-49?

Get your bits out and let us see that figure[:D]

Mean the graphs before you start!!!,  LOL[:P]

There may be a few contenders waiting round the corner[;)]

Aye that’s a fast STi "12.399sec with a TS of

115.4mph" is good but not seen any repeats of it since it was done back in

June, but saying that it has been doing a few 12.4s and a sh1t load of 12.6's

as late [H].

If you look at the improvement in Kevametals times, it's just a mater of time

till his well sorted WRX will be doing 12.3's and know doubt Craig Mac will

have BHP playing with his car over winter so his time will start falling to.

"There may be a few contenders waiting round the corner [:D]"

we would expect that when you hear of owners giving tuner open cheque books to

tune cars [:P]

You nead more than an open cheque book to build a fast car, and you nead a fair bit of skill to take it down the strip on a timed run to its potential, so a fast cars not much use if you cant drive it.

Id imagine most newage cars runing low 12s will have had similer moneys spent on them.

Greg has maybe on ran one 12.399 with mostly 12.4s and a few 12.6 runs latly on a fooked cluthc, but he has done it and hats of to him id say[;)]

Yes hats off to the man a 12.399sec run in a heavy newage is very good[H], and okay some skill is needed to run the 1/4 mile but I still say anyone can drive fast in a straight line I for one ran a 13.837 in my wifes standard classic uk turbo on my first run also that was the first time I've ever done the 1/4 mile racing [:D][:D].

Also that was with a fooked Mmmmm sure I'll think of something [:D][;)]
