baser999 Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Has anyone else seen the item posted yesterday on General Forum / General Discussion re a loophole in the Specs camera system? Makes interesting reading particularly as they're now littering the A2 / M25. Some clever person can possibly copy the item over here?
imprezyou Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 There you go. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/arti...in_page_id=1770
HairyDJ Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Might get a bit expensive to test this - who's going to risk it first?
scott parker Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 I will test it, never been convicted by a scamera yet! Play them at their own game []

shiralee Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 ALSO WHEN GOING THROUGH THE 50MPH BIT ON THE A2 IN A CAR WITH SNOOPER...IT SEEMS THE AVERAGE SPEED CAMERAS ARE NOW TURNED OFF AS NO WARNING VIA THE SNOOPER!![]
markie Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 Cue.................................. Granby he's the speed test dummy[]
tony_cousins Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 Dont forget that scanners etc do not work with the new speed cameras, they have anit scan etc built into them. Also alot of new cameras have a chip that gives out a false reading to say they are not active [] Wont be long till scanners etc will be made illegal again too, thats why road angel etc are putting the info into sat nav systems, to beat the ban so to speak[]
