FMIC's

I was just having a wee rake about flat4online.com and noticed theor good deals on FMIC's, anyone bought one of these? I was reading their spiel about fitting and so on, it says that a bit of trimming needs to be done, how much chopping are we talking here?? Also it mentions that the airbox gets ditched and an induction kit gets used, as induction kits are generally detrimental to MAF health whats the crack wi that? Is there a decent one to be used??

Also any othe rlinks to on-line shops would be most appreciated especially one that sells tein coilovers

Cheers guys

Take it your keeping her now M8!

Not many positive comments about the Flat-4 stuff ( I have never used it myself) but I believe it is basically a very close version of the Hybrid FMIC ( if you know what I mean).

Induction wise, K&N is preferred but avoid the Blitz ( BBBBBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDD filtration!) and you know my views on HKS and Hot-Film MAF's[:)]

Apexi do good induction kits aswell.  List is endless for your car Ross! FMIC, headers, injectors, turbo, re-maps, AVC-R, heat management etc. At least you have an excellent base to start from, so shouldn't need to spend massive amounts to get great gains.

Yeah I'm more of a scoobynet dweller and just pop over here briefly every so often. I'll leave Wuz to advise on where to go with yours as I've come at the modding from a more humble WRX [:)] His car is nigh on identical to yours without the mods.

My car was going great, but then the weather turned not so good so thats it until next spring. The trusty modeo has been set free once again!

I've seen you on the drive occasionally, but you cant blame me for being in my own world at pre 8am!
