jimmyGforce Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 Hey folks. I have a P1 with some mods. Was mapped to 1.4 on defi, with 1.5peak sometimes but dropping off after a sec, by Andy F (was told defis normally 0.1 higher for safety) anyway, noticed for last few days its getting quick peaks of 1.6 and settling 1.5. I'm wondering if the ecu can adjust the boost higher for fuel quality,as i'm now using v-power,or something like that. or whether theres something wrong with a valve or the control side? Was mapped with safety margine as Andy norm does if wanted. cheers Brian
Guest greegsy Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 Been a bit colder past few days so air denser maybe? My car was hitting 18.6 psi of boost last winter everytime but has been anything between 16-17.5 over past few months. On the way to knockhill on saturday coming up the M90 noticed on my secs monitor I was hitting 18.6psi. Ask anyone who was at knockhill and they will tell you it was f£ckin freezin! Greegsy
