Ah! should be easy to spot you lot then even being blonde [A]

Guess that's an excuse for Alan to purchase some of the 'gear' then, means you lot can look out for the newbies too [;)]

Fab 1,  I was there in the titanium chrome wheelchair scooting about running everyone over lol. Unfortunately I dont have any scooby gear yet just waiting for the new catalogue to be published though ;)

It was a great turn out and I'm sure you would have got a few passenger laps if  you approached any of the drivers, they dont bite well not too hard hehe.

Hey Dougie,

Will look out for you at the next track day, and will defo say Hello. As for the passenger laps, I'm more of a spectator.  Bought a 'thrill' day for Alan for his birthday at knockhill which included the F1 2 seater experience.  He loved it soooo much he convinced me to have a go. Graham 'the driver' was superb, however I have never been so terrified in all my life.  I was phyiscally shaking...........it was a complete white nuckle ride all the way round the track.  [;)]

I loved to watch all the racing, but as for being a passenger, too scared....[:$]

Will defo approach you guy's next time, and will try not to use the usual 'blonde' ice breaker questions. [6]

Lotus Esprit drivers, who was returning to his car carrying a helmit.

Off to the doghouse now ...  [:$]

lmao @ Alan-G go to the doghouse lol.

Well I had passenger laps in 3 subaru's yesterday and all were great fun.  If you look at the post called "Hairpin" that is me in the passenger seat and it was Craig Mac that took me around 1st he was letting the back end of the car slide in nearly every corner and was really good fun.

I can so far recommend pax lap's with Craig Mac,St3ph3n and Scoobaro (marty).

I am sure the list will go on the next time we are all at Knockhill.

Hi Dougie,

(whilst typing from the laptop wireless connection located in the doghouse [;)])

I saw you there too !

Next time I shall introduce myself and Fab 1 (Jen) and we'll have a natter.

I'll checkout the Hairpin thread now.

We've not been on the site long, so it's difficult to tie in usernames with real names/cars and such etc.

Still, my first - and certainly not my last - Scooby gets her 1000 miles service tomorrow, so after that, I'll get to see under her skirts, if you know what I mean!  [:)]

H*ly Cr*p I think Jen has now just locked the doghouse door... [:'(]

Take care man, and G.Mac and the Squirrell that I met on Sat.

Great day out.

Alan.

Alan, Thats what we are all about m8

Its always a pleasure, Dougie is brand new, a nicer guy you will struggle to meet[;)]

But he did leave a fair mess on the seat like, but he has agreed to pay the cleaning costs LOL[;)]

If  I get PAX laps with you craig, Imodium will have duly been administered 1 day before. (24 hours sort of cures me for knockhill)

Hoi...........Alan-G who let you out of the doghouse to post?  [:@]  Severe grovelling tactics required. [6]

Just out of curiosity, any of you guy's been round the knockhill rally circuit?

Jen

Posted

The rally experience at knockhill is absolutely fantastic.  I bought Alan the rally beginners course as a present, he loved every minute of it.  Especially when 'Dunc' took over and Alan experienced the rally course as a passenger.

Again he convinced me to have a 'wee' go.  Again it was Graham that took me round the course, in the Ford Focus, would have been mental oriental in a Scoobie! However it is amazing...........you guy's need to try it [;)]

Posted

I've done the rally experience at Knockhill. Got it as a 21st present from my mates. Did it in 2002 when I only had a vectra and loved it. But taking the scoob round the main track is much more fun.

Personally I think the rally circuit is a bit too tight and not long enough.

Posted

An organised day rally experience sounds a 'peach'! [;)]

I thought the rally circuit to be superb......granted I had my eye's shut half way round it! but the 'grin factor' was off the scales!

St3ph2n did you have the rally experience where you used the converted Sierra Consworth's with the rally 'expert' guiding you through the course, or did you have a shot in your own car?

Jen

Posted

It was the sierras round the outside. The run back with the expert was utterly insane.

I loved it, but knowing what I know now I'd say a trackday in the scoob was much more fun.

Posted

Really! My goodness you guy's must have a lot of fun on the circuit! Don't tell Alan, he loved the rally experience, he'll be dying to do the track day if he know's it's better. [;)]

Some saw good sideways action and flames though !
