WUZ Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Right - just got back in the house after being in and around Glentanar estate since 11am (great biking terrain + wet weather = FUN!) as I did tell you I would be out most of the day, at which point you told me that Andy was doing the car at 1pm ( you phoned me about 10pm, remember?). Got your text ref: item not working. If your unhappy with me or the work I did then come round the house on Saturday and I'll remove the AVC-R and refund you the purchase price of the AVC-R. Also, PM me a more accurate description of "other issue" please. Russell
craig mac Posted October 6, 2006 Author Posted October 6, 2006 Who mentioned unhappy? If you want to discuss this on open forum then fine we will You know my number call me that would be good CraiG

craig mac Posted October 6, 2006 Author Posted October 6, 2006 Rest assured there is no fire to fuel here I will discuss this with Wuz and wuz only. Peter nothing to worry about apart from not managing to get traction 1 2 and 3 in the dry with the toyos[][] I am sitting waiting for his call. Craig
gogsie Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Meant fuel on the fire between Wuz and WP. Artists are so tempremental!!!!!
fai17 Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Thank feck for that......wheel spin...may god help you[6]
gogsie Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Thats nae good for his 1/4" mile times Peter, Canna hae wheelspin. Get the Bridgestones on - that will sort it oot. Unless it's wet of coarse, or cold , or damp - you get the idea!
WUZ Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Quote Wiring fault was it?! [] Sorry, me bad, couldn't resist [:$] [6][] Oh, I'm sorry M8, I forgot that you guys were the experts in wiring even though you got Gogsies 2004 car wrong. Craig knew the diagrams I had weren't suitable for the car (2005) and so it has to be wired in with mutlimeters and continuity checks..........but hey, if he wanted an expert to fit it, he would have gone to you guys, right! It would be better if the company you work for stick to what they are good at.............what is that by the way? Russell CRAIG - I THOUGHT YOU WOULD BE IN BED AS YOU ARE @ WORK @0700 SO I NEVER CALLED. I'll try you in the morning before I take the wife and child to the doctors (don't ask! its why I am still up!)
Russs Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Ooops! Touched a nerve there! Never a truer word is said in jest eh?! Check back to the thread dude, Andy, Gogsie and even the Queen Mum admitted that there was no fault with my wiring. AVC-R worked perfectly. Maybe I should do your bit, and tell you how easy it is to get the diagrams blah blah blah and how you should've known better? Please take note that I didn't use this approach. Ho hum..... Made my point, so I'll try not to cause any more trouble. Apologies to the innocent bystanders.

WUZ Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Russ - not nerve touching here, just surprised that you can ask me to "butt out of something that has nothing to do with you"(YOUR WORDS, NOT MINE) but its OK for you to do it? HMM! Wiring wise, check with Andy and Craig - I had the wiring correct as well...just the AVC-R's main unit processor was screwed. Not exactly expected on a BRAND NEW item but I have the solution in progress. I was not being arsey in your post, I was explaining to Gogsie that the wiring diagrams were different between the UK/US/JDM and that I not sure you guys knew that. Anyway, got to go......more entertaining things to get my teeth into. Russell
