Newbie to the site....intercooler advice...!!

Hi all, just registered after having owned a 99' spec Uk Turbo for the past six months.

Recently fitted a Ninja full sports cat system, and gonna add the uprated air filter.

My question to the panel is........ would an STI intercooler fit a uk turbo car...????

I'm looking to improve the cooling a wee bit, so in comes the samco hoses, but would an intercooler swap help matters...???

I'm not looking to take the power on the car too high, so i've ruled out a front mount.

As an upgrade for a 99 car then it be a New Age WRX intercooler or better still a STI intercooler from a New Age car

i take its a fairly straight forward swap to fit a new age interwarmer....???

gonna do the work myself, but just wondering if any mods are needed....???

easy peasy !! just need to modify your i/c mounts mate oh and get a new dump valve too as it wont fit !!

steve, thanks, but lookin' to try and get it from a breakers, bit cheaper and all that.

was considering trying to source a spray mount kit from an RA as another option along with its top mount..

Should i bother.....will it make any difference....??

as for the spray, that depends on what your going to use your car for and how hard your going to use it

not sure on how often i use my one to tell you the truth, now that i have the apexi i pay more attention to the air temp now before i push the foot down
