Hi guys.

I`m after a bit  of advice. The girlf  loves boats/dockyards so i`m taking her for a day out coming down to Chatham dockyards. On her bday in a couple of weeks. thinking of staying overnight. So are there any good BnBs or hotels in the area. What is it like down there at nght??? Nice pubs/resturants??? Or is it a bit lively?? As just fancy a nice chillin night.

Cheers in advance

i recomend the dockyard as a good day out. not sure about staying in catham tho.lol if you want a nice chilling night with nice food you probably better off staying somewhere like upnor, very quiet and not far from the dockyard.

Or go to Gravesend and loose all of your teeth lol

Hello Ian,

Chatham dockyard is quite nice, a lot to see there. there is a nice pub on Chatham Island, which is walking distance from the dockyard. and it's right next to a marina.

You have got plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from, you'll be fine.

We want a full report of the event when you get back home though lol[Y]

Id agree with Rochester as being the best option if you wnated to stay in the area.

Most of us used to go to Maidstone for clubs when we were younger.

In terms of B&B, the best local one is probably the Bridgewood Manor.

But there is a faily cheap travel in near Rochester Airport.
