Dalthegooner Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 Makes no odds. It all down to personal preference.
darryl_martin Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 Just depends what you like the look of. Just different units for pressure (15psi about 1 bar I think)
Deano 666 Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 the gauge will do a lot more moving around if you get psi gauge, Tims gauges have both on one gauge.
T123VOR Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 Q What one are you getting as this is on my needs list too? Give me a shout if you like when you fit it i'll trundle round and do mine as well. If i get one that lights up- where does the power come from? (i know electricity, the battery, the sun, redbull etc!! i mean which lead is a good feed) Trevor
tony_cousins Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 When i fit gauges I wire them directly into the main battery feed on the steering colunm so they are live when the ignition is on, or if your only having a boost gauge take a feed of the fog light switch [] Be fitting mine this week end too [Y] Tony
T123VOR Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 Cheers Tony I dont know if'll have it by saturday! But may give you a shout if i get stuck[Y] Trevor

quentin_moss Posted September 29, 2006 Author Posted September 29, 2006 As I am a tight git, I have found some on fleabay. They are from a company called Momoitaly and they do LED gauges that look really nice at no more than £8.00 each (BNIB) and postage is £7.99 plus £1.49 insurance. For that money you cant go wrong??
Deano 666 Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 Q. it depends on, if you want the gauge to give a true reading or just look good in the dark, cheap is`nt allways best.[:^)]
