GaryD Posted September 21, 2006 Share Posted September 21, 2006 Hi folks, our Scooby is fast approaching the 40k mile mark, and will obviously need to be serviced at this time, up until now the previous owners always had the car serviced by a Subaru dealership. Who do people recommend, its either going to be Halleys in Milngavie, S&S in Ayr or should we just get greersport to do it as they seem to be a bit of a subaru specialist. Are anyone of the 3 to be avoided? Cheers Link to comment
**amanda** Posted September 21, 2006 Share Posted September 21, 2006 hi gary i live in port glasgow had same problem where to take the car near hand a few guys on here said greersport so i took there advice. i had 48 month service and timing belt changed 2 weeks ago a was well pleased with there work and there prices. amanda Link to comment

JohnSt Posted September 23, 2006 Share Posted September 23, 2006 I do 99.9% of my own work, however, Kenny Brown in Hillington is, IMHO, streets ahead of anyone in the area for anything Subaru related. Kenny has been involved in motorsports since god was a boy. Servicing and fettling many Impreza rally cars. The best my car ever handled was when he set it up with good old fashioned string and cornerweighted it. ---john--- Link to comment
