st3ph3n Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 They do get a grip of you. Especially if you start on the modding. Which is a great bug to catch. Treatment is expensive though.

I owned scoobies for 5 and a half years before joining sidc, never modded any of them, joined this place and have now got the bug (just glad I don't have a credit card []) I look forward to seeing some photos Alan []
Alan-G Posted September 21, 2006 Author Posted September 21, 2006 I'd like some photos too mate [] I'm waiting for the wagon to turn up from Hull, so it might be the early afternoon before I'm all WRX'd up. Why does that sound a shade primevily stinko?
Alan-G Posted September 21, 2006 Author Posted September 21, 2006 Just emailed the company and Trish wrote this back to me : I am just waiting for it to be invoiced off and then it is on it’s way. The driver is here and the car is loaded. It should be with you around mid afternoon. Are you excited? Ehhhhh ! just a little bit

Expectant father, no this is better ! Our first child was born 1year three months ago at 10.00pm - the house caught fire at 05.00 the following morning...[:'(] Mother and daughter were in the hospital thank God. lescazscoob Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 my little girl was born one year and one month ago too lol and the only thing that made her sleep was the scooby exhaust not that we minded much!!!
Alan-G Posted September 21, 2006 Author Posted September 21, 2006 Well she arrived (the WRX that is) at about 6 o'clock and I've taken her for a short spin. Why do I get the feeling that I will never have anything other than a WRX ever again? Thanks again for the all the welcomes peeps, What a great forum and bunch of friendly and helpfull people you are! I have a picture uploaded on another sites Gallery but I can't see a way of linking this forum to the other site being www.flyingsites.co.uk to show the picture directly on this forum. I fly model aircraft too (sad git) but one I had was a twin jet engined MiG29 (miniature Jet engines which run on Jet-A1 fuel and could rev to 136,000 RPM - over 2000 spins a second) which was destroyed in our house fire. The cost if the MiG was close to the price of the WRX and could do almost 100mph faster than the scoobies top speed. So I think if you click on this link you'll get the Scoobie delivery pic. [] http://www.flyingsites.co.uk/gallery/album...mall_Custom.jpg Later I'll arrange a link to a pic of the MiG - if anyone is interested that is ! Wife's away for a shot (That'll mean I need to buy another one [])
wrxmania Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Looks good - where did it come from? Brian []
Alan-G Posted September 21, 2006 Author Posted September 21, 2006 Bloomin Heck that was quick. www.Motor-depot.co.uk Without looking at their site - how much do you think Brian? Alan.
frank c Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Happy days Alan... chuffed for ya mate ) the MiG sounds cool too. ps; just hope the wife comes back....lol Frank
st3ph3n Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Great news Alan. As the others said, 1000 miles taking it fairly easy then in for the first oil change and you can really open it up.
4Hero Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 I thought you were getting a wagon? Maybe I just misunderstood [] Looks good from a distance!
