st3ph3n Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 TOp meet this evening. Very relaxed and sociable compared to the fast and the furious glasgow ones. Good to see some old faces and some new faces. Enjoyable jaunt home with Craig and his daughter and Jimster, oh and fast scooby showing us how it's done at one point too.

Yes was a good meet, good food and a good chat, was very suprised at the cost, pint of larger shandy and a pint of coke ..£2.35, very cheap ...food was exellent value too, and very nice. Good run home, was very suprised at how easy u where taking it Stephen, a Freelander even came past us [8-)] Look foward to the next one, see most of u again on Sunday [Y] Craig
st3ph3n Posted September 14, 2006 Author Posted September 14, 2006 You know what it is - that M8 bores the hell out of me now as I've driven it so many times. I need other traffic on the road to intimidate. Plus the freelander had the high beams on which was annoying me. Next time I promise to make it more interesting. Like the lights at hermiston gait []
Fee Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Sorry I couldnt make it....I was in my bed by 9pm [:$] I am so glad that yesterday is now over!

st3ph3n Posted September 14, 2006 Author Posted September 14, 2006 Well the BMW was faffing about in the middle of the road, so I had to educate them as to what the correct line was round that corner. I tell you what - trying that in the bridgestones would have resulted in more of a drift, but the goodyears are stuck down like white on rice.
craigwrx Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 I did follow and tried to keep up, but alas my tyres where on the verge of letting go, i had to back off slightly ...
Dougie C Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Glad you all have a lovely time with a lovely run and a good meal [y] and glad your feeling better today Fee. Anyone mention about the wheelchair access etc? Would be interesting in what they had to say face to face. Dougie.
