Imy

We put all the names or reg numbers on small bits of paper and in to a bag.

You pay your £2 donation and pull a piece of paper from the bag, You get what you get.

If you pull out a 1.6 gl then you can forget it, but at least you have donated another £2 to Santa Cruise[:D]

So it's like a sweep?

You pull out the reg and if that car "wins" in a category you get the prize. So the prize for the highest power classic would go to whoever picked it out and not whoever actually owned the car?

I was going to donate an all expenses paid evening out with myself to the prettiest single girl there, but I'm not sure if that would work with a sweep format [:D]

Mr F will turn up if there's prizes to be had.......[:D]

But the prize does not go to the car owner, it goes to who ever draws the ticket/reg/name from the bag!!

Unless Andy is going to buy all the tickets[:P]

peter,

if the folk who are putting their cars on the rollers make sure their reg plates go into the hat, then someone will always win - the person who draws the corresponding reg from the hat wins the prize for the category, the owner of the car gets the quodos of having the most powerful/torquey newage/classic.

Thats it in a nutshell

So when filling out your wee form stick your reg on a wee post it note and fold it up, pop it in a bag.

We then count the amount in the bag to ensure all the reg numbers are in there.

Then the bag is passed round everyone, and in exchange for £2 scottish pounds to Santa Cruise, they get to pick one ticket out of the bag.

The owners of the winning cars win nothing at all, Unless they draw one of the "lucky tickets" from the bag.
