RA Dunk Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 just found this thing growing out of my tyre []
chris_c201 Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 Nasty Stuff.... take it you kerbed it? Hope you've not been on the m-way since!
david_taylor Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 Better get a new tyre pretty quick! I had someone slash my tyre a few weeks ago. It was on the tyre wall, but it did not burst it. Luckily my Bro in Law noticed it before I did. I dread to think what might have happened if I had been flying down the motorway and it blew!
RA Dunk Posted August 12, 2006 Author Posted August 12, 2006 ive been travelling 40 miles every day to aberdeen and back since tuesday doing a course ( with some spirited driving along the back roads), dont know how long it`s been like that for but im going to be taking it very easy till i get it fixed
oz *sti* Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 wow not looking good at all - sooner that's fixed the better.
RA Dunk Posted August 12, 2006 Author Posted August 12, 2006 rather than get a new tyre im thinking aboot just getting a set of 17" wheels with 4 new tyres , im going to need bigger brakes pretty soon anyway , Hmmmm now it`s time to start looking for new wheels
jcscoob Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 [] Thats fecked m8 and if the other 3 have as much tread as that one does its 4 you need, so a wheel and tyre package is probably a very good idea [y][] Go for it min []

z1000 Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 Got a set of 17 " TSW catalunyas with yokohamas like new if your interested ?
RA Dunk Posted August 13, 2006 Author Posted August 13, 2006 naa its ok m8 im looking for GC10`s or something that resembles the PFF7 anybody know how the PFF7 replica`s are?
BriWRX Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 Hi, If you want pff7 replicas have a look for wheels called Redline, a description is here, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/17-PLATINUM-REDLINE-...oQQcmdZViewItem . I got mine sent up from Midland Wheels Ltd, based in Warwickshire, I got a wheel and tyre package that included new chrome wheel nuts and a set of locking nuts plus carriage incl vat for £565. I got them in Gold and if you want them also in Gold then i would ask them to put a bit more paint on them, they do seem a bit thin on paint on my set, but they do look good all the same, if you are near Fife then you can come have a look, or i can take some pics. Regards Brian.
RA Dunk Posted August 13, 2006 Author Posted August 13, 2006 are they 17" or 18" look like 18" in the pic , where ya get em from?
FastScooby Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 these are 17's... these were the ones gumball was flocking months ago... he got them from http://www.midlandwheels.com/frameset.asp
FastScooby Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 also try here http://www.rochfordtyres.co.uk/ if you dont want tyres deduct £190 from the price or you can get upgraded tyres for a few extra quid... i was wanting these http://www.rochfordtyres.co.uk/product.asp...amp;strSize=all but dont do scooby fitting [:S]
BriWRX Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 And before you ask Acid, yes these replica pff7's will fit over the 4 pot calipers. Regards Brian.
