Better get a new tyre pretty quick! 

I had someone slash my tyre a few weeks ago.  It was on the tyre wall, but it did not burst it.  Luckily my Bro in Law noticed it before I did.  I dread to think what might have happened if I had been flying down the motorway and it blew!

ive been travelling 40 miles every day to aberdeen and back since

rather than get a new tyre im thinking aboot just getting a set of 17" wheels with 4 new tyres , im going to need bigger brakes pretty soon anyway , Hmmmm now it`s time to start looking for new wheels

I got mine sent up from Midland Wheels Ltd, based in Warwickshire, I got a wheel and tyre package that included new chrome wheel nuts and a set of locking nuts plus carriage incl vat for £565.

I got them in Gold and if you want them also in Gold then i would ask them to put a bit more paint on them, they do seem a bit thin on paint on my set, but they do look good all the same, if you are near Fife then you can come have a look, or i can take some pics.
