st3ph3n Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 When your renewal comes through they send you a proof of no claims. Is that for the year you've just had or a pre-issued one for the forth coming year?
dipsy Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 If your insurance run out the end of this month .Your no claims will be up to that date .
oz *sti* Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 If your renewal is say the 01/09/06 then the number of years no claims you have is up until the renewal date, even though your renewal certificate / schedule will say from 01/09/06 until 01/09/07 which is the new policy year. The reason they do this is insurance companys will only give you what you have earned and not what you could also they do not know what the new insurance year will hold for you claims / convictions etc.... Hope that helps a little. Alan.
st3ph3n Posted August 6, 2006 Author Posted August 6, 2006 That helps a whole lot. Found my 4 from elephant, just need the one from royal and sun alliance for the first year with my vectra. Which if memory serves me correctly was a baw hair off £1800. Eeeep.
