craigwrx Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 My first mod ![] After only six days of ownership, the car is now booked in @ Hyperteck for next Wednesday for tien springs + prodrive geometry settings ...really looking foward to this, was amazed @ how much better the car looks and handles. Spoke to a very nice Lady there, who not only got it booked in straight away, but also offered some advice ....total cost including geometry £351.20. Big thanks to Gus, and the rest of the guys i met @ the meet on Sunday, for all there advice and infomation !![Y] [Y] Also about to order some mudflaps ...couldnt beleive the price of these things ! ...still godda have them thou, thought about buying some of ebay for £60.00 but then read reports of them flapping about, so it is looking like i will be going to Scott Lowe ...£150.00 OUCH.

st3ph3n Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 Craig, my 2005 WRX is on Teins + prodrive geometery. Might I HIGHLY recommend also getting the Whiteline alloy drop links all round as well as they are seriously worth the money. Get right back on the phone to Hypertech and get them ordered.

STi_Bandit Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 lol, and so starts the slippery slope of modding your car. Congratulations on your first mod mate look forwarding to seeing pics of the lowered beast. Martin
st3ph3n Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 Here's my thinking gus - get all suspension work done in one go as it saves on labour and getting geometery done again. Also, Droplinks are without doubt the best value mod I've ever bought. They transformed the car's near limit cornering. Everything was much more prescise and not wishy washy. Duncan was fitting them free last time I heard anyway.

STi_Bandit Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 Oh and some front and rear strut braces hehehehee Martin
st3ph3n Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 Don't quote me please, but £120 for the lot? Hypertech will sort you out with prices, but like I say - WELL worth getting done. If I was buying a new scoob I'd have it booked in for them the day it came out the showroom.
gus the bus Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 Quote Oh and some front and rear strut braces heheheheeMartin He already has those on his list[] Anyway Martin, wheres all these mods you keep talking about[]
