It's a beefeater but right on the lock- boats going by and stuff[] Loads of room outside- kids and wives are allowed

Don't know that you can book at the Malta. Wanted to book for 20 or so down there last year, midweek evening, and was told they couldn't take a booking.........said we'd have to just turn and hope there was space , even then we might not all be sitting together which wasn't a great help! Even suggesting they were doing themselves out of say £300 didn't sway them. Perhaps they changed their policy since then?

You can book at the Malta but they dont like to book really big graoups because of the seating arrangements up stairs []  Now the summer is here they have plenty of seating outside in the sun and the play area for the children too [H] Plus you can take a nice walk along the river front too []

 

The food is great there too , can recoommend it anytime [Y]

 

Been my local for years and never once have I been disapointed
