kloon Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Blue Scoob, newage STi methinks as I didn't get a proper look, on Stonehaven Road about 20 mins ago, came off Bridge Of Dee roundabout, decided to floor it past slow moving bus in 40 zone but unfortunatley didn't spot the jam sandwich in front of it ! On went the lights and chase was given. Hope you just got a warning mate.
gogsie Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 The bu**ers! Be careful on run up to Ellon on Saturday! Brother-in-law drives up there regular and this week there was 4 traffic cars within 2 mile
RA Dunk Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 The bu**ers! Be careful on run up to Ellon on Saturday! Brother-in-law drives up there regular and this week there was 4 traffic cars within 2 mile how sad can it get , thats just a total f*****g disgrace to motorists []
Ali Mowat Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 this week there was 4 traffic cars within 2 mile Thats almost as bad as on my way through to Knockhill! Passed through the two stretches of average speed cameras (specs) at a stupid 40 mph limit when there are absolutely no road works taking place and both lanes open as usual - they then have the cheek to have a safety camera van trapping after both of the 40 limits!! Taking the piss to be honest. Road angel will be in use on sat I think.
RA Dunk Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Fuxing disgrace nothing less!! it looks to me if you should make it past one car safely without getting pulled there obviously hoping you think your clear of them and speed up abit , and if you make it past the 2nd car there hoping you think your clear of them again and speed it up abit so the 3rd or 4th car can get you road safety my hoop all they want is your cash , go catch some real crook ya nobbers! []
scientific steve Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 think there is some sort of clampdown at the moment, have been told it's due to the amount of folk who have died in car and bike crashes in the north east over the last month or so but in saying that, they do take the urine in this area a fair bit [:@]
Carl Davey Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Breaking the speed limit in built up areas is a bit silly thought isn't it? Granted the A90 exit off of the Bridge of Dee roundabout is one of those where it's hard to resist the temptation to accelerate directly to 70mph but this just makes it all the more likely you will see the traffic police there. It also makes anyone caught speeding there all the more daft. Was a speed trap set or was the police car driving in front of the bus? Unless there was a trap set i'd imagine he'd have just got a slap on the wrist.
kloon Posted June 29, 2006 Author Posted June 29, 2006 It was driving just in front of the bus. It is a daft place to get caught, especially as you've only got to drive as far as Nigg Way before you can accelerate up to the 70, but speaking from experience it is hard to resist the temptaion on that stretch.
