Uprated fuel rails

I've been perfecting these for the past few months. [H]

Perrin offer something for those with side-feed injectors on a Newage (USDM 2.5l STi only though).

There's also MRT's rails of which there are a couple of sets on eBay right now for not a lot of cash.

I'd question the arguement as to why you need them though.

With a high pressure fuel pump, fuel pressure stabiliser and an ECU which can control injectors independently you should be all the way.

What major benefit do upgraded fuel rails give over the above? I'd be interested since I guess I could get them for my classic, although it'd probably need a remap after fitting, so wouldn't be cheap.

Someone did mention to me to try a swirl pot but haven't had time to investigate.
