fai17 Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 Where and what kind of hi flow feul rails should i look at.
fai17 Posted June 28, 2006 Author Posted June 28, 2006 Been advised to get it for better fuel supply so less chance of piston no4 going pop.
Carl Davey Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 I've been perfecting these for the past few months. [H] Perrin offer something for those with side-feed injectors on a Newage (USDM 2.5l STi only though). http://www.perrinperformance.com/products/sti/fuel_rail.htm There's also MRT's rails of which there are a couple of sets on eBay right now for not a lot of cash. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Alloy-Performance-Fu...1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MRT-NEW-AGE-SUBARU-I...1QQcmdZViewItem I'd question the arguement as to why you need them though.
iain_ogston Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 With a high pressure fuel pump, fuel pressure stabiliser and an ECU which can control injectors independently you should be all the way. What major benefit do upgraded fuel rails give over the above? I'd be interested since I guess I could get them for my classic, although it'd probably need a remap after fitting, so wouldn't be cheap. Someone did mention to me to try a swirl pot but haven't had time to investigate.
