j-k Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 well done matey...fingers crossed for you. Are you gonna be able to CLEAR A PAYMENT if he wants to take the car on saturday??? Wouldn't want to see you get scammed mate??... jon
HOL Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 I know the feeling, when I soldthe type R, I had a guy come down late from Yorkshire one Saturday night with his wife and kid, they stayed at farthing corner, saw the car first thing Sunday and drove it away How is he paying Dean? Im thinking of the issue that Quentin had with his car. Cash would be best, but then, you have no way of banking it. A draft would also be good, if the banks were open to verify it. When I bought the wifes Clio, we authorised them to ring the bank and confirm we had the money in the account a couple of days before.
baser999 Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 I can recommend a good organisation in Nigeria renowned for their financial acumen []

SCOOBYTOO Posted June 27, 2006 Author Posted June 27, 2006 as i'm used to selling the odd car day to day i will be making thorough checks before letting her go.[Y] can't believe this is the only call i've had too.although someone from the isle of wight is supposed to be coming over to see it again after seeing her at japshow.

markie Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 Best thing that could happen to the car, perhaps the new owner will show it a little bit of tender love & care as its not had much of that with the present owner[][][]...................only kidding. Will be such a shame that it will no longer be in k/scoobies convoy's[] still you might end up with a proper car now....................a classic[Y][]
baser999 Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 Apparently Deans going along on a monthly basis to keep the car nice and shiny
