Kumho Tyres

In my own opinion Kumho tyres are fine, had them on my classic wagon and could not kill them including doing track days. also some rally cars use them. I have just got another 4 for my car (cheers Bigdavie).

I had new set of these on my car and didnt like them at all. Very spongy when cornering.

They made me feel so insecure driving the car that I changed them and swore never to buy them again.

You can get Goodyear Eagle F1 for not much more.

I have these on the car just now, and am very impressed!  I think they handle very well in both the wet and dry, in fact I do not notice much of a difference.

Plus I have done 7000 miles and think I will still get 2000 more, depending of the summer heat!  Much more than the yokos ever got!

I think for the price you will find it hard to beat!

You all saw the way the falcon handled at knockhill? That was on 3 year old kumo ecstsas. They are as good as toyos in the dry. But I found them challenging on a 4wd car in the rain.

Khumos are great( including on the Rally car) and i have tried various brands including Bridgestone/Vredestien/Michelin on the Scoob but the most impressive tyre by far was the Toyo Proxes T1R.

It totally transformed the STI handling and if the fronts had a wee bit more wear on them i would bin the Vredestiens and swap with the Toyos.

I can get a fantastic deal on these or any other tyres from our tyre sponsor in EK so if you want to get them send me a PM and i can put you in contact.

Ed uses them to pump up the jam at the falkirk cruise so they must be good[:)]

Wilky uses them to drive slowly round knockhill so they must be good[:)]

Squirrel uses them as a burning roadblock to stop the police coming in to evict him for not paying council tax so they must be good[:(]

Fai17 uses them as fishing bait so they must be good[:D]

its all good
